Alert timing

Control when a monitor sends alerts.

Failed checks

For supported monitor types, choose Alert after in the monitor editor. One to five consecutive failed checks can be required before alerting; this helps reduce noise from isolated failures. Some monitor types use their own detection rules.

Quiet hours

Enable Quiet hours in the monitor's Alerts settings and choose a start, end and time zone. Down and degraded notifications are held during that interval. Once it ends, a held notification is sent if the monitor is still unhealthy; a recovered monitor does not produce the held alert. The notification inbox records the event when it occurs.

Reminders

Use Remind me while it is still down to select a reminder interval. Reminders stop after the outage is acknowledged or the monitor recovers, and are held during quiet hours. Availability can depend on your plan.
