Webhook alerts

Send alert events to your own HTTPS endpoint.

Add the channel

  1. Open Integration & API in your Upty workspace and find Alert channels.
  2. Select Add channel, choose the type, and enter a name and the required fields below.
  3. Save the channel, then use Test to check the result and confirm it arrives at the destination.

Credentials are stored encrypted and are not shown again. A preview result means delivery is simulated; it does not prove that the destination received a message.

Fields

  • URL (https): a publicly reachable HTTPS endpoint.
  • Signing secret (optional): used to sign each request.

Upty sends a JSON POST with the event, monitor name, target, monitor URL and time. Downtime, acknowledgement URL and expiry details are included when available. If a secret is set, the X-Uptiva-Signature header contains sha256= followed by an HMAC-SHA256 of the exact request body. Verify the signature before processing the event.
